Henry’s Mac N’ Three Cheese Bake

Our take on the famous mac and cheese is a tasty meal the whole family can enjoy. Its simple to make, but we are sure you’ll love it!

Ingredients

  • 200g macaroni pasta
  • 1 garlic clove, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp of Henry’s Honey mustard sauce
  • 25g Butter
  • 25g plain flour
  • 250ml whole milk
  • 200g mature cheddar grated
  • 50g parmesan grated
  • 50g blue cheese

Instructions

  • Heat oven to 200C/fan 180C/gas 6.
  • Boil the pasta in salted water for 2 mins less than recommended on the pack, then drain.
  • Melt the butter in a saucepan and add the finely chopped garlic. Let this flash cook for 1 min, then stir in mustard sauce and the plain flour.
  • Cook for 1 min more, then slowly pour in the milk whilst whisking.
  • Continue to simmer the sauce for around five minutes.
  • Pro tip. Keep whisking all the time until the sauce has thickened.
  • Take off the heat, then stir in grated mature cheddar and grated parmesan and grated blue cheese.
  • Stir the pasta and some seasoning into the cheesy sauce. Tip into a large ovenproof dish, or 2 individual oven proff dishes.
  • Place back in the oven for 18 minutes or until browned on top
  • Sprinkle with smoked Paprika and fresh chopped parsley.
