- Carefully using a sharp knife, cut through wings ever so slighly to allow the glaze to penetrate later. In a saucepan heat 1 tablespoon oil over medium-high heat. Add the crushed garlic and cook and stir for 1 minute. Add the ketchup, cherries and hot sauce along with 1 teaspoon salt and 1/2 a teaspoon of pepper. Cook and stir until heated through. Brush wings with the remaining oil and sprinkle with remaining salt and pepper.
- Grill the wings over a medium heat for 15-18 minutes or until juices run clear. Turn occasionally and brush with glaze during the last 5 minutes of grilling. Serve with remaining glaze poured over the top.
